*It would be interesting to hear the results of tests with these UPS's. Why not go to the breeaker panel and switch off the circuit breaker with the computer on and see what happens?* Why??? Just unplug the UPS from the wall. As I stated previously all the vendors lie about the batery times.... I have done these expirements on 280,420,650, 1000 watt ups's from three different vendors and results were fairly consistent that realit=y and their specs differed by factor of two. Sean
