Hi guys, this is an exchange I had with a buddy of mine at BAY on the rumor of ASND stealing Worldcom from BAY : (Italics below is his response)

BTW, this is the word on the street: >

> Now, the word on the Street has it that Bay has lost > MCI WorldCom's (WCOM:Nasdaq) huge

> merger that has yet to prove itself. What a tangled > mess.

I could see how the word on the street might make this connection. But the loss of business in this case is due to why business has been lost in the past, not due to distractions of the merger. Believe it or not, the merger has been extremely transparent to the various "LOB"s, much to the delight of the employee base. So, this time anyway, the word on the street is incorrect.

I'm sure that Nortel people would say that any new "wins" would be due to the successful merger but that would be wrong too. Hey, the spin doctors have to do something with their time.

Sup.

ASND: December Tax Loss Selling or Buying?

Since ASND has come back to a new 52 week high, there will not be much tax loss selling during December. However, the shorts might buy it back to show losses during December...and therefore ASND might go even further north in December.....what do you think?
