The margin is offered without penalty. In other words, you can lose all of your investment but not one dime of the margin will you owe to the firm.

That can't be right. It seems like this company would go bankrupt in about a month with that kind of rule.

So with $25,000, you could purchase $250,000 worth of, say AMZN. Then, if AMZN drops 15% suddenly, you are only out $25,000 and the brokerage picks up the other $12,500?
