actually for the first time in a coupla weeks, i couldn't find rambus in the overnight news, so i wrote my own article and posted it here.

now if i could just get wsj, usa today, and cnbc to report my musings, we would all have a helluva thanksgiving.

i was quite certain samsung was forecasting their own sales.
why would they forecast the sales of other companies?

By itself, Direct RDRAM will account for global sales of $2.6 billion next year and reach $13.5 billion in 2000, according to the company

IIMU, the $13.5 billion is the total DRAM share RDRAM would enjoy for ALL DRAM makers , i.e., MU, NEC Toshiba, Samsung, etc...not just Samsung volume number.
