Question: What do you mean when you say Dell is overheld?

TSCNYjjc: Great question. In a column a week ago I mentioned that Dell was overowned. That means that so many of the important institutions that buy stocks already have sizable positions in the name. It means that they are "full-up" so to speak and cant buy any more. That means the stock cant rally as it used to when it was "under owned."

Interesting article about DELL no longer being "underowned". Yet Msft hasnt been underowned for years and it still performs fine, in spurts. I'll take spurts for DELL too.
But I can see that a stock that is just becoming recognized has a better chance of huge gains because of institutional buying just beginning on it.
