Had a bit of a problem with Amazon a couple of weeks ago. They have this procedure called "one click" ordering that you can use to simplify the purchasing process. What I didn't like about it was that there was no easy way to amend your order (at least that I could find) and there's a time cut off on it to boot. I felt like I was in the Hotel California, you can check in, but you can't check out.

Anyway, within 90 minutes I had an email saying that my order had been process and I responded with email that I wished to cancel the order. Believe it or not, they had already shipped one of the CD's I ordered! They straightened it out by sending me a self addressed envelope to send back the CD and they credited my account.

I guess it was sort of a good news/ bad news situation. The order was muffed but they were fast in straightening it out. My only recommendation is don't use the one-click feature, I think it needs some refining.
