Antoine:
Thanks for the nice comments. Sure wish I had a bit more time to spend on this forum, as it is a great place to hang out.

With respect to the bubble, you are right,...it sure is dangerous. A broker friend of mine related a nasty story concerning a client who lost close to half a million dollars over a few weeks as a result of being short Amazon. According to my pal, the short position involved only a few thousand shares.

MB's ideas on the use of options make good sense to me. I know the options are expensive.

Deep-out-of-the-money puts make sense, as they are not too expensive, they allow one to buy lots of time, they can be rolled over if timing is wrong and when these crazies die, they fall long distances in a hurry, hence the profits can be sizeable. I have put my toe in the water on YHOO a couple of times but retreated as timing was inappropriate. I suspect, (but I'm not yet ready to bet) that the internet sillies are getting close to the cliff's edge. Time will tell. I would really like to be there for the inevitable swan dive, but they are as dangerous as nitro at the moment. Nibbling rather than big bites.

Best, Earlie
