jim i just read your article. two quick comments. 1. it is very old news. i personally think all companies, at one time or another, strive to keep proprietary info out of the public domain. that is just good business. have you ever experienced a problem with office 95 or 97? ever wonder why msft kept the problem a secret until they had a fix? 2. are you just speculating? we have all heard about this rumor. i have yet to see a direct quote, reference, or link to anything that would substantiate anything you've speculated about. how about posting your substantial resources. or is that proprietary? glad to see that you do think rambus is the winner though. unclewest
