what is missing from this report is that ATM stll has plenty of room for growth. Currently, the old X.25 market is like more than 10 times of ATM and in Europe alone it is 6 to 7 Billion$ for X.25. Pretty soon (and it's going on now) these X.25 pretty much all convert to ATM. ATM is still in its infancy and will grwo tremendously in the next few years. FORE with its great ATM products such as ASX4000 that is made for WAN segment will benefit greatly. Note that ASX4000 with direct SONET conenct feature will be a big hit for ATM WAN market. FORE, imo, is a great buy now.
