The sales guy misinformed you. WDC has very little, if any business with DELL on the regular desk top models. Maybe some in the high end, and workstations, and servers, but the low end belongs to MXTR and another smaller player, maybe Fujitsu. I do not think QNTM is too successful with DELL. I called GTW yesterday. They told me that they have 3 sources for HDDs, and they are IBM, WDC & QNTM. No sign of MXTR, or Fujitsu here, thank God.

I am really concerend about the new Conner Technology company. These guys may kill this freaking market for everybody. I think Finis Conner is determined to ruin this market, even though he can not make any money at it. I guess he looks at it as, hey if I am not going to make money, then I will make life miserable for the others as well. They are targeting 4GB to 8GB, and want to sell drives at less than $90.00/drive. This is getting really silly.

Happy Gobble Gobble Day everybody!!!
