The second was the possible CPQ involvement in the SUNW-Netscape-AOL deal.

This is the first I've heard of this. Do you have any pointers to the news on this?

Robin

Victor...A new market for a different kind of box for mass market use might be a good idea if there is excess production capacity in CPQ's facilities. I doubt that was what caused any pickup in the price yesterday. This is the eleventh day in a row this stock has traded within the 34-35 range so there has really been no pick up or fall down in price for over two weeks. If you ask me now is the perfect time to buy this stock because the sell point is clearly defined and it is so near by. ie small risk.

Victor, at this point I think Compaq is trying to steer clear of anymore merger talks...if they are involved with the AOL-Netscape- SUNW deal, I think it would affect share prices negatively short term. I think investors are still angry they weren't notified about CPQ-DEC until after the fact...and CPQ shares are still paying for it, that's why CPQ won't move til they finally show the street the money!

I got my last 1,000 and my son got his last 100 today at $34 1/4. So, let me guess... maybe next week, right?

Stuart.
