Steven and others,

You can sell your LSI shares NOW for a 1998 loss and buy LSIAB options to take possession of your stock in January without missing any runup. The cost is minimal compared to the gain in the tax writeoff.

...BTW I believe mid-December tax selling should be over and if LSI will move that will be the time ....and continue for the next couple of months due to the January effect.
