I wouldn't make too much out of that though as Compaq (DIGITAL) has already been down that road. They had a working system code-named 'SHARK' based on the StongARM chip that was to be their entry into the Network PC race. They were working with Oracle on this but it got dumped. Last week or the week before I read a news item on the Microsoft trial that quoted someone's testimony indicating they (MS) had coerced Digital into dropping it. If that really was the case I can't see them picking it up again especially seeing as how Intel now owns StrongARM.
