The way I see it, given the trading volume over the past few days and assuming that Creaf was doing a lot of the buying, they have already repurchased about 3 million of the ten million shares they are allowed this year. (I freely admit that without level 2 information this is a wild guess.)

Basically Creaf cannot afford to run out of rope before the end of the year. They must run the price up slowly and allow periods of consolidation for some natural support to be established. This is just one of those periods (I hope). Having said that, if we see serious selling this afternoon then I think we will also see serious buying from Creaf to prevent any further dip.

Remember also that buybacks are not Creaf's only weapon. We are almost into earnings pre-announcement territory. While I think the market as a whole will use the inevitable bits of bad news to readjust, I am still (blindly?) holding all my Creaf in the hope that some good news might be forthcoming.
