A few IDT facts . . .

Size of template, according to testimony by Oscar Pieper before Congress on May 20, 1998, is 80 bytes on a Mastercard chip. According to an article in PC Week of January 12, 1998, the IDT template size for a one:one minutiae match is 80 bytes, and for a one:many match 250-400 bytes.

I think IDX's pattern recognition one:one match is 118 bytes.

But with increasing inexpensive memory capacity, I think these differences are getting progressively less significant. Both IDT and IDX have small one:one footprints.

Also, an August 8, 1997 article in the Hartford Courant cites a Mastercard spokesman as saying that IDT has an ATM fingerscanning device that costs only $50.

Rick,

I would like for Bill Gates to adopt that philosophy and get us on board......And thanks to the 4:00 guy...for keeping our Yahoo PE above 300!

If IDX had earned 1.5 cents instead of 3 cents over the last 4 quarters.....our PE would be 600.....and if it were .5 cents...it would be over 2000.......

If IDX had earned .0000001 cents...the PE would be out of this world. .......Then IDX would truly be an internet stock.

Have a great holiday.........double digits next week....We are rocking my client's house.

ps. Anyone know what the short interest number is for November?......December could be "whack a short" month too. November sure has been.
