All orders entered into the ECN are electronically routed without any human intervention.

Jerry:

I don't believe this is what was being questioned. The question was: Does Terra Nova, Archipelago, or any other TNTO related entity trade against the order flow of the ECN? Certainly, this could not be done manually, but it definitely is very possible (and perhaps tempting) by computer.

Similarly...
Assume that I have the only TNTO order on the books to sell XYZQ stock at a price of 30, and a new buy order is entered into ARCA/TNTO to buy XYZQ at 30. Will I always get the fill? OR, is there a computerized system in place which is capable of executing against and pick off the occasional extremely favorable order, in place of me begin executed with that trade?

Lets start with some basic questions for the record and then the readers of this thread can get a feel for your crediblity.

Was Jerry Putnam a principal in the SOES trading operation at 318 West Adams, Suite 1600, with Townsend and Lewis Borsellino as described in the Chicago Tribune Article dated October 4th, 1997. This SOES operation was named the Chicago Trading and Arbitrage, L.L.C.

Was Terra Nova Trading located in the adjoining office to Chicago Trading and Arbitrage at 318 West Adams, 16th Floor, an office that has now been transferred to Lewis Borsellino as part of a settlement to his lawsuit of February 1998?

As part of this settlement, did Terra Nova Trading not relocate to adjoining offices to Townsend Analytics at 100 S. Wacker?

Was the Archipelago ECN formed by Townsend and Mr Putnam as equal partners at the begining of 1997, at least 8 months prior to the October 4th, 1997 story.
