Gaps almost always get filled and Dell typically fills its gaps in a short period.

This isn't always the case. As I wrote recently on this thread, there was a gap down on Oct. 1, and it wasn't filled until nearly a month later, on Oct. 27.

There's the overall market to consider, too. If it can break above its former high, then DELL will probably be carried up with it. Otherwise, the market will pull back, most likely taking DELL with it for a few days. The drop probably won't last long, though. I just don't think that it's time to buy DELL yet -- with an emphasis on yet.

I agree with you that the gap will be filled -- but the question is when. It's too soon to say soon.

Incidentally, guess which stock has the largest short position on the Nasdaq market. DELL-- for the second month.
