Gersh: I think the RUT is getting nailed with end of the year tax-selling. My guess would be that the sellers will put their funds into mutual funds since managed money may have out-performed their own investment decisions. If that is the case, the large stocks will do better for some time. However, by mid-December the RUT should start acting better--unless we are moving lower generally.

This is my guess. If it continues, I will assume it is true.

There are two things that worry me now--well more than two. But the two now are the TRAN and the weak A/D line since May. The TRAN has a good deal of work to do.

This is not how the A/D line should be read but take a look at this

Then look at this

I think this awful A/D line could overwhelm prices. It did in 1972 and it finally did earlier this year. I can come up with a number of possibilities but that is only more guessing.

After saying that, I still have no basis to sell at this time. Except for the dip signal from a couple of days ago. I will probably go with DJX calls on my next buy signal. I just hope it is a decent buy signal.
