Legend CA, the joint venture between a wholly-owned subsidiary of CA and The Legend Group, combines CA's world-leading software technology and proven application development capabilities with The Legend Group's distribution channels, market strength, and intimate knowledge of the Chinese marketplace. Legend CA's initial goal is to develop three key software applications to meet the most pressing business issues identified by China's business community. These developments will result in a number of flagship software suites targeted for China's burgeoning business community as well as for export to other Asian and global markets. The first product under development, "Wen Deng," is a leading network development tool that is more intelligent and easier to use than C++ and other widely used tools. The joint venture underscores CA's commitment to China as both a source of exceptional technical talent and a huge developing market for the spectrum of tools and technologies that has made CA the leading business software company in the world.
