Far out idea,i think maybe cookies would allow S.I.to follow posts.
I think in case of lawsuit from post that is negative about a company.Some people post through remailers that are anonymous.This may be away to determine origin of post.Like I said,cookies usually are on a sight everytime you log on.On S.I.they seem to be random.Any one else have input to this.

11/25/98 - IN OCT. THE CB INCREASES ITS GOLD AND CURRENCY FUNDS BY $863 MN.

ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA. Within a month its funds grew from $12,709 mn to $13,572 mn. The Central Bank reported growth of hard currency funds by $816 mn. Gold funds increased by $47 mn. As of early 1998 the CB funds shrank by $4,212 mn. On Jan. 1, 1998 they equaled to $17,784 mn. Hard-currency funds went low by $3,239 mn, gold funds -by 973 mn. The Bank of Russia refills its funds by purchasing dollar proceeds from exporters at special trade sessions in special authorized stock exchanges.
