I agree with you about the rabid opposition to the death penalty by the pro choice crowd it makes absolutely no sense. I happen to know a great many religious folks who are rabid anti- abortion Southern Baptists (and are in many ways very fine people) but when it comes to the murder of abortion doctors they are of the opinion these folks "had it coming." I am sure most of these virtuous folks would never pick up a rifle and actually shoot anyone at a clinic- but they support the rhetoric and the climate that encourages it. When you breed hate you musn't be ashamed of the acts your progeny commit.
