I agree with you that there is a lack of confidence in this stock. This together with very good prospects available elsewhere in the stock market is causing the lack of interest and continued selling on moves up made by the stock.

This is of course just my opinion. I have not had a chance to look at a chart on this stock to see where current levels of support and resistance are. I suspect 6 is one such resistance with a major resistance at about where the stock price peaked out earlier.

If you believe that the merger is a win/win for REDB and IFMX (as I do), then what you're suggesting makes perfect sense. The pricing gap you're looking to leverage reflects the risk of the acquisition falling through. But that risk is minimal, in my opinion, given what each company has to gain from a consummation of this deal.

So they'll both knock themselves out to make this thing happen, and you'll make your 15%. Nice play!
