While driving to and from a meeting this morning, I listened to the business reports on local news radio. Watch out for the traders closing out for turkey day. Friday morning is historically slow, and some times a good day for bargain hunting. US consumers are expected to spend more money for Christmas this year. Good for US economy. Japanese consumers are not spending money, but saving it. This is not good for Japanese economy. Corporate earnings are not expected to be great for fourth quarter. Market is high due to Greenspan. Market is moving on momentum and not fundamentals. Monday may start the tax selling season on stocks. This may cause market to dip next week as it runs out of Greenspan momentum. If worries about earnings return after tax sales, the market may go lower. This is not my opinion, just a report on business news from one source. Lately when I post articles, people seem to think it is my opinion. I'm just trying to provide information. NW
