ISLD can only execute with ISLD...so sure, one or two second execution because ISLD is just crossing the stock on its own book.

ARCA, on the other hand, can hit ANY ECN or MM. If ARCA seems slow (10 seconds?...we have come a long way) it is because it is on an automatic Selectnet preference to a different ECN or MM.

You will notice that if you use ARCA like you use ISLD and only hit TNTO with it, you will get the same type of fill (one to two seconds or less).

What you describe is not an ARCA shortcoming but simple NASDAQ market mechanics. But this is why we are given choices.
