I was responding to your remarks about "going against the will of God" if you take a life. I am not a pacificist and do not think it is "God's will" for my child to be abducted while I stand by and watch it happen. If I were in that situation I would shoot first, and ask questions later. It's simplistic to say that killing is always counter to "God's will" and the example I used was one of situational ethics where killing is justified, imo. bp
