I agree. But we as a society have always had the burden to caring for the unwanted, whether it be an unwanted child, a person with infirmities, or the aged. Would you argue that we should permit the deaths of those unwanted human beings too? When you start using the standard of autonomy, then we are truly on a slippery slope. bp
