--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- WHAT: Intel will be demonstrating the first PC-based video phone

designed specifically for cable modems and high-speed cable

Internet connections. Using the power of the PC, the Intel®

Video Phone delivers a high-quality, real-time video experience

and telephony capability to cable connections. This

demonstration will take place in the CableNET(a) '98 and Cable

Connections section of the CableLabs booth (Hall D No. 4488),

as well as in the Motorola booth (Hall B No. 2101).

Also in the CableLabs booth, more than 10 vendors will showcase

the momentum of the International Telecommunication Union

(ITU) H.323 communications standard by demonstrating how their audio and video applications
interoperate. Intel is a supporter of H.323 which enables multivendor audio and video solutions.

In addition, Avram Miller, Intel vice president and director of
Business Development, will participate in a panel discussion
entitled "Cable Clicks: How Silicon Valley Sees Cable."
The panel discussion will be held Dec. 1, 1998, at 3:30 p.m.
in the Anaheim Convention Center, rooms A9 and A10.
