Duh. Why, exactly, Starr and the OIC should have had any control over Tripp in the first place is a question one might ask.

Valid question! I think a few days from now, people will be saying that Starr made a "big mistake" when he consented for the interview.

But when you are going downhill, you don't have any time to make "small mistakes", I guess! :-)
