As per this mornings posts about NN and CHINA POST, the new fibre link was supposed to link 31 Provinces of China.
For details see: biz.yahoo.com

As per the data available to me, China only has 22 provinces, one in dispute. These are as follows:

Administrative divisions: 23 provinces , 5 autonomous regions* , and 3 municipalities** ; Anhui, Beijing**, Fujian, Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi*, Guizhou, Hainan, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi,Jilin, Liaoning, Nei Mongol*, Ningxia*, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanghai**, Shanxi, Sichuan, Tianjin**, Xinjiang*, Xizang* (Tibet), Yunnan, Zhejiang ,note: China considers Taiwan its 23rd province

Could someone kindly point me to the missing 8.
