14:41 ET Books-A-Million (BAMM) --UPDATE-- 12 7/16 +8 1/18. Salomon Smith Barney downgrades the stock from "neutral" to "underperform."

Need to watch it closely...Luck all.

I think focusing more on online sales will only help the company. With strong website development and increasing devotion to the online model, BAMM could take some marketshare from AMZN. I think the executives at BAMM have realized the importance of online commerce and maybe have been feeling the heat from AMZN--even though AMZN does not even have an actual brick store.

I expect BAMM to maybe form some alliances. It would be wise to broaden the name recognition.

As for the stock, its current marketcap right now at $12 is $208 MM dollars. There is alot of room for upswing.
