SAN DIEGO -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) today announced the appointment of George Dunn to
vice president of U.S. sales and David Hooper to vice president of international sales for QUALCOMM Wireless Business
Solutions (QWBS). Together, Dunn and Hooper will be responsible for worldwide sales of integrated wireless data solutions,
such as the OmniTRACS system, to provide competitive advantages for QWBS partners and customers.

In his new role, Dunn will be responsible for all domestic sales activities, including customer service and support. "George's
goal is to continue to develop a world class sales and customer support organization that is driven by the needs of the
transportation industry and other markets with a need for mobile data," said Phil White, senior vice president and general
manager of QUALCOMM Wireless Business Solutions. "As we expand our focus and develop new wireless solutions,
George's trucking industry expertise and broad knowledge of mobile data applications will be an invaluable asset for our
current and future customers."

Hooper is returning to the international arena after serving for two years as vice president of U.S. sales. "Dave brings to his new
position a proven track record of international and domestic accomplishments," stated George Mansho, vice president and
general manager of international business for QUALCOMM Wireless Business Solutions. "Dave was instrumental in creating a
highly-successful best practices program for our U.S. sales team which he plans to bring to our international business partners
to help increase sales in the global marketplace."

Dunn joined QUALCOMM in 1989. He was formerly with ABF Freight Systems and Customized Transportation Inc. A
native of New Jersey, Dunn holds a bachelor's degree in Materials Logistic Management from Michigan State University.

Hooper joined QUALCOMM in 1990. He was previously employed with Trailmobile, Inc. A native of Nashville, Tenn.,
Hooper holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Tech University.

Little tidbit for other "obsessive compulsive" people out there who want to make copies of Silicon Investor "posts" look more "tidy" when being re-sent as e-mail (or, reproduced in another post in SI) :

If instead of going to the post you want to copy, you go to the post which was the one being replied to, then look at its replies, THEN copy the post you want to copy within the replies, then ... it will look nicer.
