I guess the unusual will continue to capture my thinking from time to time. My mind is thrilled when God prompts me to know that those things which we see are temporary and those things we cannot see are permanent . Sounds contrary to human logic. It's like , since I am in this form, I should continue to be in this form. But, not so. "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Cor 4:18 NIV) "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." (2 Pet 3:10 NKJV) "Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness," (2 Pet 3:11 NKJV) "looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?" (2 Pet 3:12 NKJV) "Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells." (2 Pet 3:13 NKJV) "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone." (Rev 21:1 NLT) Wow! A new heaven and a new earth for the new regenerated man, all by the grace of God Thank you Lord Jesus for dying in my place thereby taking the punishment for my sin and emancipating me from the prison of satan. Father, I am looking forward, as you know, to seeing Jesus face to face. I will be clean and pure, washed in the blood. Amen David.
