Each to his own, eh .... and then that varies with mood and circumstance. Sometimes I really like to move around - four towns a week with absolutely no itinerary or pre-planning. Be here now, get on the bus when you feel like it, travel light. Just go to the bus station and take the next bus, never mind where. This is safe and cheap in México as long as your credit card holds out -g- Then other times you find a place you like and hang out. Que será, será.
