One interesting thing about this case is that although the main market maker in the stock (let's identify them as "WD") had a role in this caper, it looks like Neldon Johnson and crew will take the rap, because of the ads they ran and the "investor packages" they mailed out, full of false claims. Basically, the market maker is going to get away with it - you should see the market maker's file I have from NASD Regulation - it looks like a police rap sheet, and shows that they have had trouble with the authorities in 18 states.

Pratically all of the shares are owned by the family and associates. I do not think organized crime is involved but they use the same techniques. Let us face it, Johnson and Co. made millions on the hype. The charts shows exactly what happened. I will talk to my cousins who knows Johnsons well. If I have any more information I will relay the message. If they are found guilty of fraud you will see bankruptcy filings, then the stock will be worth nothing.
