Tellabs Inc. (Lisle, Ill.) has created a new division, the Network Enhancing Technologies Solutions Group, to develop new voice enhancement and echo cancellation products. The new unit combines the technologies and resources of Tellabs and Coherent Communications Systems Corp. (Ashburn, Va.), which Tellabs recently acquired. ... Tellabs also has extended a development agreement with Nuera Communications Inc. (San Diego). The companies will jointly develop voice and data features for service providers using Tellabs' access and transport platform.
