I agree with you, James. But the problem is, WEB is from the 'old school'. While this isn't BAD, it isn't current. Me ? I have no idea how or why YAHOO! goes up and down like a yo-yo, and since i cannot 'bank' on it going up, i avoid it (among others). But the Yo-yo doesn't just apply to I-Net stocks, there are TONS of other ones out there. We all know this. America is enamored with a handful of so-called I-Net stocks: YHOO AMZ CSCO LU AOL XCIT and just a handful of others. I have some SMALL I-net stocks, but none of the 'high-dollar' ones.

Yeah, now that you and jim frost point it out, I realize I was missing the point.... Sorry about that. I'll try not to do that anymore :-)

OT: Just got back from the Predator's game. 4-3 win over Calgary!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Shane

James Clarke, and all, I have come across an internet/e-commerce stock with a margin of safety--INFR, Inference Corp., $8 per share and has cash on hand equal to $3.50 per share. I owned this stock at 4 for months and it did nothing and I got bored and sold it. BIg mistake. It has doubled : a new management team, a contract with America On Line and salesmen to sell the product, which is the technology to facilitate telephone help lines to customers and something new called k-commerce, also the best search engine in the business.
I am willing to bet you will find this a Buffett stock compared to other high flying internut shares. Take a look at the SI INFR thread go back several months and particularly look at post #909 about the latest shareholder's meeting. This INFR is a rara avis. And only one analyst covers it--for now.

Tell me what you think of this little gem. Have I overlooked a flaw ?
