>What I found to be significant is that in this release the other side had plenty of positive
things to say.<
Steve, they sure did. Also of significance was that this release was not put out by Actv. That only happened once before, when Actv got the rights to FSN till 2003.
The news gives us something else to chew on tomorrow.

Enjoyed your post.

Nice post Steve,

But once again, where is the money coming from?
More drain and burn rate for ACTV?
What and where is the revenue in this deal for ACTV?
These are the questions that we should be asking.
This is just another R&D project, IMO.

Let's get going with the product we have now, get it out to the public and build on it. This is just more of the same nonsense, another stall tactic by ACTV management and TCI/Liberty.

These are the hard facts that we all have at this point 28.4 million shares out there. When I first started investing in this company there were 11 million.

Steve & All,

"One of the first things that Masters said he will look at is TCI Music and interactive opportunities involving music, such as selling CDs.

I was thinking about the statement you posted above, the TCI-Music Box deal and the company's latest patents - connecting TV to the internet. Last night, as I was watching one of the Music channels, I saw a commercial for the new Pearl Jam Live CD. After having a few beers and turkey, I would have ordered that CD right then and there if my TV had interactive capability.

If I'm not mistaking about what ACTV could deliver, then the advertising potential of this will be tremendous. The power of impulse buying during or immediately after a commercial - WOW!

Yesterday, for the first time I visited eToys.com on the web. My wife and I are trying to get out an idea of what to buy our daughter for Christmas. I hate to just go blindly into Toys-R-Us, wonder around for hours looking at toys, with no idea of what we're buying. Being a typical male, there's nothing worse than wondering aimlessly in a store, especially with you wife, during the mad holiday rush. I want to know what I'm buying, go in, get it and get out. Today's black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, one of the biggest shopping days of the year. I'm not going shopping today, but I will take a vacation day next week to do some Christmas shopping.

What all this rambling is leading too, is imagine watching a toy commercial on TV. It's one of the toys your kid really wants for Christmas and now you can order it with a click of the button.
Home shopping networks could eliminate phone operators by connecting the TV to the internet.

Again, if I'm not mistaking about the technology, then the advertising potential is tremendous. The internet stocks Yahoo, eBay, AOL, etc... have been soaring because of the sales potential of the internet. However, I don't believe anything could beat the impulse buying potential during a TV commercial. IMO this is the power behind this stock and I wish there would be more attention given to it.
