It has been available here in Miami for a while. It is kind of pricy. $1000 for the install and $109 a month the last time I checked ( about six months ago). It is supposed to scream. But my cable hookup was $50 to install and $30 a month. For the moment I will stay with cable.

wily,

I just spoke with DNAI in Berkeley, CA, and they also provide microwave (wireless) T1-equivalent connections for not much more than a 384kb ADSL line. The problem is that you MUST have line of sight for it to work. I live in a valley. I'm stuck. No ADSL, no Cable Modem, only 64kb ISDN which I've been using for a couple of years.
