D.k.H. ....read your first post again.
think about it...I think you understand.

Possibly there are some pearls of wisdom throughout the
thread from which you can learn.

Maybe you can learn from what isn't said right now.
CPQ has been very quiet concerning important issues and
details. (DEC, disposition of existing distribution for future,
etc.) This has been concerning!

Go back to February and March of 1998. Since relatively little
has changed, as information, most has already been said before.

We are itchy waiting for news, stock breakout, etc....
in the meantime we are keeping busy.

Loki

PS...maybe your first assumptions of the people on this thread
aren't exactly the way you thought.

D.k.H.
Let's start over. Welcome to the Compaq thread. People here have a great deal of knowledge about Compaq, VARs, the computer business, investing, finance, management, and fun. When there is something to discuss they discuss it. I have learned a great deal on this thread. One thing I do know is that the thread is not a research department. If you go back and follow rudedog's posts you will find a wealth of information. After that, start clicking through about two or three months of posting. You will gain a great feel for CPQ and the discussion group here.

Happy Thanksgiving
