compare market caps..

consider:
EBAY 8.2 Billion
ONSL 1.15 Billion
AWEB 16 million

now eventually, with some revenue data, there will be a multiple
that the number crunchers can use to determine what a fair price
might be relative to the others..

I read elsewhere that to apply the sample revenue multiple to ONSL
that EBAY is commanding, would put ONSL at a price of 440..

not that any of this is really based in reality..
but eventually it will be.

really the upside for AWEB comes from the limited number of auction sites actively being traded..
remember when the search engines hit it big,
and then the valuations between them came under consideration,
and SEEK eventually went from 8 to 45?
and GNET from 6 to 30 something?

there are a limited # of these auction sites,
and the incredible performance of EBAY means
great added value to AWEB's up and running site..
anyone who wants to get into the business will
need to get up and running fast...
speed is everything. So AWEB's site is attractive
as a takeover possibility, or 'partnering' with others as SEEK did,
etc..

after watching these stocks carefully
the last couple of years, the one thing I have noticed
is that you have to watch by 'sector'
and when you see imbalances,
you can make large gains by being early enough

that is what is happening with ONSL and AWEB...

now this is all pure conjecture on my part,
my own subjective observations..
but if you check back on the postings, you can see I pegged it pretty well last week...
