Gee. I'm glad to see someone do a little DD on the site. Its a pig IMHO. Waldo keeps harping on all sorts of irrelevant concepts , IMHO no one has focused on the site like you.: ie number of offerings number of dates of offering time and extent of offerings. All not expanding but IMHO declining this quarter: As a 3 time buyer I see no product expansion and my interest has wained to nill. The tremendous stock volume and going nowhere is a direct result of this site dying on the vine. Don't forget some internet sites will go under this may be the first one. I have seen sales estimates going down from $25MM for year going down to $20mm this year which is only about a 20% quarterly increase in the 4th.. How will that grab you all???

Your numbers are wrong Jim...................

Just came over from the site. I had to see for myself. I just did the American side tonight.......

All goods close at 10:00 pm tonight. There are currently 178 items on the site open for Auction. 83 of them have bids on them and will sell tonight. That's better than 43% of all items up for auction are going to be sold. Current Value of all the items using the current top bid is $22,922.00!! (That may change with any late bidding) That is not including the Canadian side of the site and it does not include the dutch auction figures. A new auction starts tomorrow. That also doesn't include revenue from ad sales on the site and it does not include the all important licensing agreements that are being negotiated. So, with all respect, where in the world did you see the 87 items? On the Canadian side of the site? Well the all important money will be made from the US sales. Also, did you check out all the products being offered on the US side of the site? Check out the hot action on the personal computers with almost every one of them being bid on. Get your bre-x (oops I mean BII) because this one is for real.

Jim: What are you saying? Bid Com is not worthy of a measley $2.80/share? If that's so, what do you make of those Internet commerce companies in the USA that were $20/share a few months ago and are now US$100 or US$200/share today, their line of products are no big shakes either, just starting out. Are you connected with any of those large bricks and mortar stores .???The shareholders of some of these Internet commerce companies I guess can see into the future. The total Internet sales in the USA is $US13 billion but that huge figure still only represents 1% of USA sales. These new companies may jump up those sales to 5% or 10%++ It looks like this will be the future, the drawing card, much cheaper products.!!!

Oh I did some more.......

Jim,

You were looking at the Canadian site. There were 77 items being bid on in the current auction which closes tomorrow at 10:00 pm. 24 items currently with live bids and as of now, total sales based on current high bids is $5,662. 31% of items are being bid on in the Canadian Auction. Hey, if I were a retailer and could sell 31% of the items on my shelves in two days I'd be elated. Let alone the over 40% turnaround in two days on the American site. Wouldn't you be?

Jim Naysmith, I hope you're right.
I don't mind if BII turn into Bre-X or Ebay. Bre-X $285 >< Ebay $205
I currently hold 15,000s of BII.
Bre-X 15000 x 285 = $4,275,000
Ebay 15000 x 205us = $3,075,000 us = $4,612,500 cdn

Bruce Gordon, this week will be your last chance to get some Bid.com at a affordable price. You might have to cough up 3.30 to 5.00 next week.
