I dont recall saying I have never had problems. I got a heck of a problem with Etrade right now, they didnt execute a market order and I found out to late to do anything about it. I have frequently used the phone to execute on Etrade, Ameritrade and Web trade. I will say it once more, all of them have their problems because of the emerging technology. I am sure they all would like the problems to go away. But I am old enough to put things in perspective, if I cant handle one way , Ill handle it another even if I have to use my full time broker with a major firm who is fully aware of my trading habits. However, in the crash of 1987 I couldnt even get thru on the phone lines to him before I had lost 70 grand. These are things that are part of the business and for heavens sake if you can get a better place to trade go do it, but you'll eventually gravitate to the lowest fee when all the problems are worked out regardless of who it is. In the meantime the name of the game is to make money. AMTD is playing the game to win and they will. I have over a 100 per cent gain and that makes up for a lot of little inconveniences and if they announced tomorrow they would stop advertising and spend all their time perfecting the operation I would sell in a minute. After all arent you here to make money trading or are you trying to establish a career as an online critic. It doesnt pay much and I note that I am one of the few who use their real name and disclose my position. If you are from a competing company, I can understand although I think that is a dispicable method of promotion....gil P.S. I dont know if investment commentary is welcome on this thread but I think I smell the internet craze maybe spilling over into the online companies. My guess is they will make profits greater and faster than the hi flying, hollow shells that make the headlines, and it just might be the players are waking up to whats happening. I also like TSCN, it is already established online , making money and partnering with CCI on new website in Dec.
