Right, and you and they will be the same ones panicking soon when you realize the reality of the Y2k situation. Did you notice that MSFT recently announced that THEY are entering the Y2k consulting/training market in the 1Q of 1999?

That's right, Microsoft, the same company that not so long ago claimed that Y2k was somebody else's problem, will be providing consulting/training services as well as providing internally developed Y2k tools along with a selection of Y2k software tools developed by other firms, some of which you just mentioned.

That's right Billy, your Microsoft is a customer of Tava's!

Do yourself a favor Billy and watch "60 Minutes" this Sunday...unless they are part of this Y2k scam too.

Bill,

just a friendly, quick pulse check.. wanted to see if you've revisited your initial prognosis on Biotime.

Biotime heard back from the fda last week. It seems they have a couple of minor questions, but the fda said no further tests or trials were needed, just a few i's to be dotted, also... they were fairly expedited in their response (7 months) without an an official expedited review.

I was on the Abbott conference call last month.. ABT expects that Hextend will be a $40 million to $400 million market in the US depending on labelling. In order for BTIM to break even in 1999, they will need to sell $28 million worth of Hextend. It seems to me that Abbott is even more optimisitic than BioTime usually is..

i've bought a new watch, so unfortunately, the ticking has been replaced with silent accuracy.

mesa

P.S. have you been checking out my site on yahoo? you might drop by from time to time.. especially given that you are a gentle bull these days. :-)

CPU is my only holding which is up today.

At the same time, all of its internet "competitors" are getting taken to the cleaners. EGGS, BYND and all the rest just getting killed.

Even legitimate companies who sell on the web are getting hurt. Look at DELL.

But CPU is holding its own, and even moving up.

Nice pick so far.
