Hi Bearcat,

Regarding the action on WSP today, my broker says that the private placement was oversubscribed two times. Those who received confirmation they didn't make RT's president's list, or were cut back, started buying/adding to their positions in the market today. That should provide support for the next little while.

Why is management being so greedy here? A rights offering to shareholders would have resulted in less dilution. The insiders and the sponsoring broker could have picked up and exercised any un-subscribed rights. That way nobody can bitch. What about the shareholders who have been here for along time? For the insiders to line up and trip over each other for WSP tells me that the information to be released must be veeerrry convincing and good.

I think he takes that responsibility seriously ... not that he's always right, tends to follow Bishop's recs too much, imho ... for instance, the kry call was a disaster, and people who dumped wsp around a dollar in July and August have lost an opportunity. But other calls have been spot-on, like his criticism of ipmcf and npa, and pfg in early '97.

I think he's wrong, but can't prove it any more than he can prove wsp is salted.
We shall see ..... and in the meantime, the more we talk about him the better he likes it -g- ........... cheers ......... macros
