It certainly lQQks as though some major institutions are buying back into CD as todays 12 million shares traded on no news would suggest. J.D. was somewhat early on this recommendation and I do take his advice with a grain of salt. However CD has put some of their problems behind them and are taking some positive steps to boost the price of their shares. I personally held off on buying into CD until after it bottomed and started moving up. No I didnt catch the bottom but it looks like they are taking the necessary action at this point. I think 20 will easily be seen by the end of the year. J.D.'s recommendation on CD may yet bear fruit...

Good investing to all...

P.S. Ericsson has quietly been moving up the past week or two and IMHO now is the time to buy given that we are at the bottom of their product cycle re: their cell phones.

One things for sure. When the pessimism on this thread is the greatest...thats certainly the time to step up to the plate on some of these issues...Just food for thought.

O.T. Has anyone seen Jerry Favors on CNBC. His most famous line to date is "The market is going to go up unless it decides to reverse course." Talk about talking out of both sides....I get a kick out of some of the TALKING HEADS that they wheel out on the show...lol

Well, I hope you are right, especially about CPPKY. Of course, if people on the thread followed JD's recent advice about CPPKY, it wouldn't matter to them materially because they would have sold it at .375, a recommendation which I found fundamentally irrational and, subsequently, one which I ignored. I don't pretend to be a sophisticated investor, but common sense tells me that when I have a stock purchased at 10 (at JD's advice), and it plummets to .375, it hardly makes much sense to sell at that point, especially when Thailand looks like it is starting to recover.

Anybody else do the same with that recommendation on CPPKY (ignore JD's advice)? Incidentally, I've about doubled my money since then. I think it closed at .750 yesterday! Man, there's one to celebrate over the holidays.

Dont worry about me checking prices of FFS and CPPKY in three years, Ill still have those turkeys and probably still be underwater on them. Better to go get your dough back.
