ni, my brokerage, pt discount, was shut down by the sec. not sure why. my money was transferred to a new account. i'm ready to roll now ;-)

NI, Scottsdale Securities has SIPC, could not find their brochure so I don't know how much. I don't know how stringent their requirements are for margin accounts, because I don't have one. Other than having customers with margin accounts they can't honor, what would make a brokerage that doesn't act as a MM go under?
