I do not read the discussion thread at all, hardly.

I'm more dismayed than anything else. Last summer I was up and running in a few days. I've put a lot of man-hours and money into this thing and even BioComp cannot figure out why I'm still having problems. Perhaps it would not be so bad except I'm starting to feel like a beta-tester for bad software.

I have Investor R/T on one machine and found two obscure bugs in the last two days. This is Version 3.2; why did it take until now for these things to pop up? I've had the software a month and found more bugs since October than I can remember.

Mike Taylor, wasn't he the guy sitting about 4 people to my right? I remember he was complaining his models imploded so badly that he had to go back to day trading (perish the thought). So he trades for a living, I guess. I did not get that impression for some reason. I thought he was just a position trader with a regular job.

As for a lot of spoo points, GZ is long from the high 900 range and doubled it around 1015. That is also a lot of spoo points. TT developed a system many years ago and takes profits whenever he hits 45. He must have pulled that hat trick a half dozen times in the last 6 months.

I don't know; perhaps it's just that these problems are technical in nature. Something beyond my control. It's not like I'm writing bad systems; I could deal with that. When I'm doing stuff that I'm supposed to do and whammo then it's discouraging.

The recent problem is that the data fails to update in Profit. It ends on the 19th. BioComp does not know why either. It's fortunate I noticed it, one model was long from 58 and I noticed right away the open equity did not match up. Now I go into the weekend with time to work on it but BioComp is on holiday until Monday. Another week shot.

This thing better be whammin' and jammin' well ahead of next year or Carl is not going to get another subscription fee out of me.
