If the number of shares stays constant, then the answer is easy: We need at least 48 cents/share EPS in Q4 and $800,000 x 48/22 = $1,750,000 in total net income for Q4. Now, fully diluted shares keep going up as options vest, so these figures need to be adjusted up a bit. But that's basically it.

Saw the Pokemon TV cartoon show today. First, you pronounce it "po-key-mon" or "po-kay-mon" (both were used) with equal accents on all syllables (rhymes with "OK man" in Jamaican). Second, the theme song is extraordinarily catchy--cool little pop hit sound to get the youngsters addicted. Third, the little monsters are pretty cute. Fourth, the plot seemed rather stupid, even for kids. Fifth, 4Kids was listed as producer, and Summit was displayed prominently at the end.

Ads were shown for the Nintendo Pikachu virtual pet (great ad) and WCW/Tiger toys (yay, money for KIDE), along with other stuff (boo).

Anyone ever see Beast Wars? (This was on right afterwards). Couldn't believe the great graphics (plot also stupid).
