John, I think your friend is right. IDX will join the craze when Microsoft or Sun or Oracle or America Online/Netscape decide to define the future of internet user authentication.....by creating a relationship with a biometric technology company. I have been singing this song since Microsoft and Sun both signaled that they were going to get into the smartcard business.....a month or so ago.......AOL/Netscape are now also a candidate for a move in this direction.....needing advanced biometric solutions. It is coming.....the timing would be anyone's guess. bg
