Food for thought. Bowflex used to make the product and sell it to
Schwinn known then as the Schwin Bowflex . When Schwinn ran into financial difficulty ,Bowflex now Direct Focus took back the rights and called it the Bowflex. This dynamic management team took the product from the ashs and built a company and marketing team second to none. I see the Nautilus situation as a more advanced carbon copy.
Why have so many companies chosen to go direct. Dell, Gateway now Compac? Too avoid situations like Nortic Trak. Lets review. Nortic trak used to be a direct sales company (great growth story). Instead of expanding what payed the bills they added stores and increased overhead. Today where are they??????
This management team will never rob the goose that is laying the golden eggs!!!!! Go DFX

DFX shareholders should check out Grant Robertson's analysis of the DFX acquisition of Nautilus. Grant is an analyst for Buy Low Sell High, probably the first newsletter to pick up on and feature DFX way back in 1996. Read Grant's analysis at the following link

(Look for the "DFX - TSE - Acquisition of Nautilus" thread).

I also have a call in to Rod Rice with a list of my own questions about the acquisition. I will post what I find out.
